Easyrisers is a Shropshire based company which has been supplying staging
and risers to the live performance industry for over 20 years.
- Easyrisers stock a large range of staging, risers, rolling risers, stage
sets,scene flats and drapes and can cater for staging up to 50 ft wide x 30
ft deep with a variable height from 2ft to 6 ft.
- Most of the staging and risers are on interlocking aluminium frames with
ply decking with the supports in aluminium (no heavy steel here!) and are
easy and quick to assemble. The 'standard' stages can be transported on a
small trailer and towed behind a car or van.
- The company holds a selection of ready-built stage sets, stairs, ramps,
hydraulic lifts etc and can design and construct to individual requirements.
- Easyrisers supply rolling risers from simple 4ft x 2ft x 4in high "skateboards" to a full 3 tier rolling system (for Festival situations) which measures approx
40 ft wide x 24 ft deep.
- In addition to their core touring work with clients as diverse as Depeche
Mode, Rod Stewart, Aerosmith, Def Leppard and Elkie Brooks, Easyrisers have
in recent years supplied several local events including being regularly involved
with the Leominster Fringe Festival, supply production and stage managing services to Ludlow Spring Festival, Farmer Phils Festival, The Shrewsbury Folk Festival, Wizzfest and regularly supplies stages for events at the Workhouse Festival in Llanfyllin, Powys
- The company supplied staging and risers to the Grass Roots and Rock (Grr)
Festival near Bridgenorth in July 1998 and was involved with the Kingsland
Millennium Festival supplying a complete stage and roof
system in 2000 and delivering a split level stage system to fit in a cruciform
marquee for the subsequent events until the festival's demise in 2004.
- In Nov 2004 the company constructed a split level 11m x 8m stage for the annual review performance of Ludlow's In-Step Dance School held at Moor Park School.
- Easyrisers regularly supply stages and equipment for small, local events
held in venues across the region such as the Three Tuns in Bishops Castle and Worthen village hall.
- The company has supplied staging for the Castell Rock event in Aberystwyth and the Greenman Festival at Clun. We also supply staging and intelligent lighting systems to the Sustainable Life Festival at Mathrafal Fields in Meifod, Powys
